Residential Community Manager

SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of the assigned property, ensuring the property is at maximum occupancy at all times with high renewal rates, and performing other duties as assigned.


  • Manages resident requests and issues through to resolution.
  • Maintains current resident and vendor information.
  • Maintains current rent roll information.
  • Supervises lease administration and resident relations.
  • Supervises rent and delinquency collections.
  • Collects all resident sales reports.
  • Prepares property budgets and operating reports.
  • Prepares and assembles monthly management/operations reports.
  • Coordinates of all legal work related to properties.
  • Acts as first line contact in property management.
  • Oversees maintenance and make ready staff.
  • Manages all property management correspondence, documentation and filing.
  • Managers team onsite and takes disciplinary action, as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leasing and managing mixed use properties for multi-family residential.
  • Must have multiple lease-up experience.
  • Yardi experience preferred.
  • Real estate license preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects/tasks and be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.
  • Critical thinker; exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must have great attention to detail and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate an onsite team.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a positive, enthusiastic, and friendly approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
